A Guide to the Hottest Online Action—Lasseters.com
by J. Phillip Vogel
After
spending almost $2 million on redevelopment, Lasseters.com, Australias
largest and longest-running online casino, has recently launched a revamped
version of their Web site complete with a new look, better graphics, faster
downloads and a greater gaming selection. Site improvements and
modifications such as these allow Lasseters Online to be more responsive
to players demands for new and improved games, says Peter
Bridge, Managing Director of Lasseters. It also significantly reduces
the amount of time our players spend with site housekeeping and provides
faster and simpler access to their winnings.
As
a result of the upgrade the site has been simplified to reduce the number
of layers, dramatically improving navigation and reducing the time required
to commence play for first time players by 75 percent. In addition, players
are now able to download Flash technology from Lasseters Online, allowing
them to maximize the benefits of the new site. Individual games can now
be downloaded in around one minute, and players need no longer install
the entire suite of games prior to registering.
The upgrade has also nearly doubled the number of games available, raising
the total from eleven to twenty-one. Joining the existing games (which
include Blackjack, Roulette, Sic Bo, and Video Poker) are Baccarat and
Nine Slots, themed with a unique mixture of traditional Las Vegas flair,
fantasy, and sports. Betting ranges on the games start from as low as
1 cent to a maximum of $50 per spin. Additional slot games that will introduce
a range of new bonus and free game features, and the addition of popular
substitute and scatter symbols, are currently being developed.
Lasseters is Australias first government-licensed and regulated
online casino, and the company brings more than twenty years of land-based
casino experience to the world of Internet wagering. With updated software
comes a whole new level of gaming entertainment and I look forward to
even more promise in the near future.
