How to Play Monday Night Football
by Ernie Kaufman

Wagering on any Monday Night Football game is a completely different situation than wagering on the games played on Sunday. There is an entirely new set of systems and trends involved in the Monday contest. Here are two of the best!

PLAY THE MONDAY NIGHT HOME TEAM!

Wagering on the home team to cover the pointspread on Monday Night Football has been a consistent moneymaker since the inception of the Monday games. Since 1970, the home team has covered the pointspread 59% of the time.

If 59% is not good enough for you to justify wagering on the game, then I suggest the following system which offers a higher percentage of winning play.

PLAY THE HOME UNDERDOG THROUGH THE ENTIRE SEASON!

The results of this system are quite impressive. Try 150 wins against 53 losses. by the pointspread, since the inception of the Monday affairs. Why does the Monday Night home team underdog fare so well in the play? We can certainly theorize The Monday Night home team is as up for the game as it can possibly be! The team knows full well that it is getting major national television exposure of a unique nature; not competing for audience as they would be during a sunday game. Couple this with the fact that there is an extremely partisan crowd rooting for the home team, and you have some strong medicine going for the home eleven!

My advice is to watch these two excellent systems throughout the 1999 season and make yourself some Monday Money!
